The rollarcoaster

Beth's Great Day reminded me about a similar experience recently. One of those moments where you stop and realize - I am totally 100% happy. Not everything is necessarily perfect, but I am so happy right now. I've had a great day, people have been nice to me, I've gotten a lot accomplished, things are finally going my way. And you want to remember the moment forever. Eat it up, bathe in it, wrap it around you and snuggle it and feel it's warmth.

Because unfortunately there are complete opposite moments. (eg - your laundry goes up 25 cents, your son spills his lovely crumbly crackers all over the clean floor, someone cuts in front of you in the parking lot, school fees go up, you find out there's no trip to NZ for Christmas, you hardly see your husband for like a week, you realize there's not many places for indoor fun for toddlers).

But the junk sure makes you appreciate the good even more!
