Friday Dec. 24

Today we went to a cute little factory called Candyland where they make lollies (candy). They put on a little show for kids and explain how to make chocolate and then everyone gets to make their own lollipop :) It was so fun and the first time I've ever done anything like that. It was Kamuela's idea and we all sampled different kinds of fudge at the end - Oh.My.Goodness. Divine! Russian, chocolate, vanilla, some mixed with peanut butter, marshmallow, mint, and more.

 {Endorsement: I heart my Beco Butterfly 2 carrier! It's so comfortable for me AND baby, and leaves me hands free to do whatever I want, including making lollipops!}

 these Reese's cost $60 a box!!! Crazy!

 I loved all the colours and flavours, I wanted to try them all!

 Mickey Mouse and a Christmas Tree :)

They also held the record for a while for the biggest lollipop in the world (it was banana)

Ohh I forgot to mention, since it was Christmas Eve we also read the Nativity Story from the New Testament, sang just about every Christmas song we could think of, and watched The Polar Express until we were too tired to stay awake any longer!

  2. Love this! Our parents took us to cool factories a bunch growing up and it was always a LOT of fun. I love your blog! Just barely started one myself that I hope I can use as a journal under the name "The Tefan 'Ohana." I wanna learn your tricks to get my "blog flashed up," too. :)
