I have a bazillion thoughts zooming around in my head right now. If you could see them, they would look like a whole bunch of fireflies. You know how cartoons show a bright idea as a little lightbulb? Well mine are fireflies, because they keep flittering around and they're wonderful and happy and it's hard to focus on just one because all the others might get forgotten. And besides, all of them combined make such a beautiful picture!
I think I have ADD.
But I am just so excited! This year so far has been so wonderful, and I am happy to report that for the first time in my adult...
{to clarify: whenever I use the expression "first time in my adult life", it automatically means as far back as I can remember, which actually may or may not be accurate seeing as my memory is quite terrible}
...life, I have resolutions! And have already started on some, but am not going to rush because I have a whole year, and I don't want to burn out because I'm hoping to develop great habits that will last a long long time.
So I will try to record my fireflies as much as possible, in between caring for my poor, sweet, sick baby, actually working on my resolutions, and the Daily Routine. Are there still 24 hours in a day? When did time speed up so fast?
Luckily I have a great hubby who brings me early Valentines gifts just to make me smile!

ReplyDeleteI wish you had shared what some of your resolutions are for this year. You sound so motivated! Maybe that would rub off on me... I have resolutions, too, but so far I'm not as committed to them as I want/ought to be. Love you!
Yes! he bought these home Saturday night after his gig. I LOL'd at your comment and showed him, he smiled and seemed pretty pleased with himself

VERY cute! I never do resolutions, just try to work on things I need to "fix" as they become more apparent. Haha. Good on you! (And so lucky to get the early "I love you's." I don't even expect them on Valentines Day but I usually get my mushy love letter and that's my favorite.)
