Good news - No accidents today! 5 (or was it 6?) shishi's on the toilet. The rest was in a diaper, because we went to do some shopping today, and I did laundry, and I didn't want him peeing on the clean clothes as I folded them. (Smart yeah? Esp when we pay about $10 a week to do our laundry, and I didn't want to have to wash them all over again).
He's doing really well. I'm still waiting for the Number 2's to happen in the toilet. But at least he is learning to hold it and telling me when he needs to go "barshroom".
This is looking good. I am daring to hope that we will be at least down to a diaper for sleeping only by next week. But the big challenge for all of us is taking him out of the house without a diaper, and learning to use other restrooms.
I'm going to order those disposable cover things for that.
Public restroom = Gross.
You CRACK me up!!! I loved reading days 1-3 so far! Ugh! I can only imagine what patience it must take as a parent to understand that he is still a babe. But props to you for sticking to it! Kids need routine and consistency from the parents in order to be successful at what they do and most parents don't have the drive and motivation to stick to it. So good for you for taking on the challenge!!! Good luck! Ill be asking you for all the tips down the road! You are so humble and always putting yourself in check! You are too good!

WOW!! YAY!! That is so exciting!! (There is a light at the end of the tunnel. :) ) I'm amazed that Ka'ihi is "getting it" at such a young age -- but I shouldn't be surprised because he is so smart, and you are so patiently persistent. Good on y'all! [I see superhero BVDs coming for birthday/ Christmas! haha]
