Today was an ok day. Ka'ihi went a lot on the toilet, and only once on the carpet. It was much easier with Kamuela home (for once). Ka'ihi is doing pretty well at saying when he needs to go. Now we just have to work on going in other bathrooms, and not relying on a diaper whenever we go out!
But I think he will be ok. I doubt that we will be done in a week, but my goal is 2 diapers a day - one during naptime and one at night. I allow myself to believe this will happen within the next couple of weeks.
Tomorrow is church. Although he WILL wear a nappy (don't worry, you can sit next to us, he won't pee on you) I'm going to try to take him to the bathroom as often as possible, to get him used to it.
Fingers crossed! We shall see.
